Our third stop on our trip was in Panama City, which finally gave us a room with air conditioning… which was needed! We spent 5 days exploring Panama City. We’re not actually sure what we would have done in Panama City if we did not have a room with air conditioning. It was very hot.

We would usually spend the majority of the morning and early afternoon walking around and visiting different places until the heat just got to be too much. We would usually plan to see one or two things in a day and then head back to the hotel for some cool air to relax. When we traveled via the metro train we were lucky because the train platforms were cool and the trains were even cooler.

During our time in Panama City we tried to see as much as we could. We spent quite a bit of time around the Cinco de Mayo Plaza area walking up and down Central Avenue with the locals. It was always very busy and great for people watching. Other days we took trips to see the Panama Canal, Old Town, Panama Viejo ruins, and the Amador Causeway.
