I was pretty excited to visit Dubrovnik, especially after I found out that Game of Thrones films there quite often. I was looking forward to trying to find specific locations and get pictures of me doing similar poses from the show. That didn’t quite happen because it was harder to find the locations than I thought it would be. Also, so of the filming locations were not accessible, like one of the locations on the city walls. In addition to Game of Thrones, we had also just missed a week long filming for Star Wars VIII. Some of the set pieces were still up on the main street that runs through the center of the Old City.
Other than being a hot spot for TV and movie filming, Dubrovnik is a charming city inside and outside the walls of the Old City. Inside the city walls you have the narrow cobblestone streets and outside you have the amazing views of the city along the Adriatic Sea. It was one of my favorite cities to just walk around, mainly because it felt like I was either walking around a movie set, or I had taken a step back in time. We had amazing weather during our time there and the pictures are proof of it.
